The Law

Legal Requirements

To achieve compliance with the law the legal requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 requires proof that an electrical installation or equipment is safe. Inspection and testing of an installation by competent people and the creation and maintenance of records would help achieve these requirements.
